How I Work

I've loved hotels and travel for as long as I can remember, but what matters most to me is how a trip feels once you're actually there.

The best stays are rarely about one big thing. They are about many small things done well. A room that feels peaceful. A hotel that fits the rhythm of your trip. Service that is thoughtful without being stiff. A sense that everything is just a little easier, prettier, and more enjoyable than it would have been otherwise.

That is what I help clients find. Through Sebastian Luxe Travel, I curate hotels and experiences with a careful eye and plan trips that feel polished, personal, and genuinely worth it.

About Kate

I fell in love with travel in Paris at 15, and it has shaped my life ever since. Since then it has taken me to vineyards in France, temples in Thailand, and a surf trip in the Dominican Republic, where I met my husband.

Today we split our time between family in the Netherlands and our home in Westport, Connecticut. Sebastian is my son, and the business is named after him.

Before this, I was an ER nurse. That background still shapes how I work. I think ahead, stay calm under pressure, and pay attention to the details that can quietly change the entire feel of a trip.

Travel has always been one of the places where I feel most like myself, and building Sebastian Luxe Travel gave me the chance to turn that instinct into something useful for other people.
